About your instructor (2)

I'm Claudio Fleury. I come from Goiania, I moved to Brasilia in 1994 to study Architecture at Unb, and have lived here ever since. I graduated in 2000 and decided to continue living here, even though I frequently travel to visit my family in my hometown. I have been teaching English as a foreign language for the past 15 years or so, and I've been working at Casa Thomas Jefferson since 2004. I now work at the main branch, Asa Sul, after five years at the Lago Sul branch.

I really love teaching, and have been teaching and tutoring online courses since 2008. One of my interests is the use of technology for teaching and learning a foreign language. I am also part of the Education Technology team at CTJ.

In my free time I enjoy reading books and listening to audiobooks. I've discovered how practical audiobooks are and now just can't live without them. On weekends I watch sitcoms and old TV series, like Get Smart or The Adams Family. It may surprise you, but I like to relax doing crosswords, in Portuguese I must say.
