A little bit about your instructor

Hello again, guys! Here is a little introduction about myself:

My name is Ronaldo, I live in Brasília, and I teach English. This is a recent picture of mine. I like technology very much.

That's it.

In the comments area, write what you think about my introduction. You can use the following questions to help you:
  • Is my introduction complete? If so, what extra information do you think would be relevant? If not, what else would you like to know about me?
  • How could my introduction be better connected?
  • Do you think the picture plays an important role in an online introduction? Why (not)?

How is a first contact made to the other course's users, I mean that the introduction posted is a good start. The picture is quite important to build a scenary of where the teacher has visited during a recent past.

Hi Vagner!

Thanks for the comment. I agree that the picture adds a lot to an online introduction.

As an informal and on-line introduction, it seems ok to me. Containing some very basic data, adding little or no information to what we already know or expect about you, it is safe. You could also add your age and, maybe, your marital status.

You could re-organize the information you provided: you could exchange the second and third sentences of the second paragraph and place your picture below the text (My name is/I like tech.../This is a picture../the picture).

A well-chosen picture can make an on-line introduction warmer, and also give some hints about your way-of-life. Yours looks great!

Hi Ronaldo!

Your intro seams to be too succint. It would be nicer to know a little bit more about yourself. You could best show us who Ronaldo is by giving informations like:
- How long have you been an english teacher?
- Where did you studied?
- Have you ever lived in Brasilia?
- Is this photo recent?
- Where were you?
- What were you doing there?
And other things you could find intersting about yourself and would be confortable in exposing to the community.

By the way, is this blog accessible to the whole Internet or just to the group?

Hi Aline!

Thanks a lot for the questions, I really liked them. I'll make sure I include all this information in my next post tomorrow.

Good question about the blog, it is a regular blog which can be accessed by anybody on the net. The same with the wiki. The only thing only the participants have access to is our e-platform (thomas.org.br/online).

Well, since this blog is open to the world, I may review my questions about you (and maybe the writing about me!). Feel free to write just the information you feel confortable to expose. :-)

Hello Ronaldo!
About your introduction, I believe, considering that it is the first contact, online, with a group that you don’t now, it is quit good. There is enough information so we can know who you’re, how you look like, where you live, and what you do. I consider that you could include more information such as how old you are and what else you like doing.
Picture it’s a very important item so we can fell a little bit closer, despite been a non-presential course.

See you around!

Hi Ronaldo.
I am little bit confuse.
Where do we have to post our comments? Here or in the previous section (tutorial)? Or in both?
Thank you.
